About Us

Nic, Rachel and Jack moved to Cleave Farm in 2021 with the hope of creating a sustainable farming business supplying healthy nutritious food and encouraging an interest in agriculture and food production in the wider community. Nic grew up in Gloucestershire and is not from a farming background, he started in farming around 15 years ago, working mainly as a dairy herdsman before taking on Cleave Farm. Rachel grew up on a beef and sheep farm in mid-Devon where she worked until 2025 when we had twins, Lottie and Ernie, growing our family to five. Jack is a very enthusiastic 8 year old farmer, his favourite jobs on the farm are rolling in the new seeds, feeding (and naming) calves and building anything!
